Student athletes, musicians, academicians, and performers study, compete, participate and perform throughout the state in athletic competitions, musical and drama performances, debates, Model UN scenarios, geography bees, Massachusetts History Day, junior engineering competitions, Envirothon, Destination Imagination, internships, Nature’s Classrooms, travel abroad and to our nation’s capital. Hubbardston Center School and the high school tend a vegetable garden, complete with compost and greenhouse, providing fresh produce for its students & faculty, high school astronomy students study the night sky through an on-campus telescope, while physics students study alternative energy with an on-site trailer equipped with a wind turbine, photovoltaic panels, an insulated water tank, 4000 watts of battery storage, a 2000 watt inverter and electric control panels.
