Quabbin Regional School District offers an "integrated preschool model". Students with disabilities and peer model students learn and grow alongside one another. QRSD implements a play based approach to Preschool. Students have the opportunity to engage in thematic play including centers such as dress up, exploration/discovery, motor development, and more.
Preschool programs are open to 3 and 4 year olds. Enrollment is open and offered throughout the school year. Registration is based on age and availability. Preschool is currently TUITION FREE!
Transportation is provided by parents, unless indicated by the Special Education Department. Children must be 95% - 100% potty trained to begin Preschool.

The full-day preschool program will select 8 students through a lottery system. Child must be 4 years old as of August 31, 2025 to qualify. If you want to add your child to the lottery, please click the link below and complete the form.

To begin enrollment or be added to our waitlist please return the first 4 pages of the Registration Packet, along with a copy of your child’s birth certificate and proof of residency (pages 8-10) (unless you have other children registered in the Quabbin District).
**Hardwick Elementary Program enrollment is done on a lottery system and only open for 4 year olds. Notification that the Lottery is open will be sent to all students currently enrolled and/or turning 4. A notice will be put in the local papers by the end of March for the following school year. Notification of acceptance will be made approximately 6 weeks after lottery opens.
