The decennial accreditation visit from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges concluded in December. The visiting team began their visit with breakfast fare prepared by the students in our Life Skills program. Breakfast and the initial meet and greet was attended by MHS and Central Office administrators, followed by a tour of the school from our NJROTC cadets. The team then received an overview of school demographics and schedule provided by guidance counselors Katie Gaspar and Ashley Csorba and science teacher Josh Schroeder. Two seniors: Aspen Qualles and Summer Barringer shared their experiences as students in the high school and highlighted academic and extracurricular programming they had participated in. The team then launched into the work of meeting with stakeholders in small focus groups and visiting classrooms. The visit concluded with a brief faculty meeting where the NEASC Visiting Team Chairperson and Vice Chairperson addressed the faculty and administration.
