Quabbin Preschool Information Presentation
The Quabbin Regional School District offers integrated preschool programs at each of our elementary schools: Hardwick, Hubbardston, New Braintree (for Oakham/New Braintree students) and Ruggles Lane!
Our preschool offers an integrated preschool opportunity where students of all abilities are able to learn and grow together. Our preschool program is a TUITION FREE, space limited program offered to students who reside in the five district towns of Barre, Hardwick, Hubbardston, New Braintree, and Oakham.
The preschool program follows the Quabbin academic calendar. Students must be 3 to 5 years old at the beginning of the program and may remain in the program through age 5. If your child does not meet the age eligibility requirement for kindergarten, they are eligible for preschool. Transportation is the responsibility of the family.
Our preschools will each have 2 sessions. The morning program is in session from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. and the afternoon program is in session from 12:30 – 3:00 p.m. The afternoon program at the New Braintree Grade School is in session from 12:15 – 2:45, allowing time for parents to travel to Oakham Center School for dismissal for their older children. During this time, children will have opportunities to develop their language, social, emotional, physical, and academic skills.
Registration is ongoing throughout the year. In order to be on our waitlist, please complete the first four pages of the registration packet and provide proof of residency/occupancy/identification and a copy of your child’s birth certificate.
Send all registration forms to Diana Sanelli by either fax, email, mail or hand delivered (see information below):

Notification of acceptance will begin on June 1, 2022 and, at that time, the remaining required paperwork will need to be completed. In the event that we have more students than available slots, a lottery process will be used to select students for our preschool program.
