| QRSD Vision 2010 Online
During the early months of 2005, the Quabbin Regional School District initiated a
planning process designed to assist the school district in responding to the forces that are
transforming public education in Massachusetts and around the nation. To this end, the
School Committee and the administration initiated a strategic planning process whereby
school and community stakeholders revisited the district’s mission, vision, and values,
identified district successes and weaknesses, examined possible threats to future progress,
and assessed what potential opportunities might lead to greater successes. The result: we
developed a strategic plan designed to direct district activities to minimize weaknesses and
threats and maximize successes and opportunities.
