The Ruggles Lane School is our largest elementary school in the district with close to 400 students in grades PK through 5.

Located on Ruggles Lane in Barre, the school has a welcoming steepled entrance, with the classrooms surrounding a magnificent gardened courtyard, a fully equipped play area, recreational fields, a cafetorium, full gymnasium, and media center filled with books, and a compuer lab.

At Ruggles Lane, we strive to create a learning community that is Respectful, one dedicated to Learning, and one that is Safe. During the 2015-2016 school year, our community worked together to develop a Constitution that permeates our entire school culture.

We the people, in order to form a more perfect school, to insure a Respectful community, to promote a Learning community where we strive to do our best, and to secure a Safe community for ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the Ruggles Lane School.
