H1N1 Flu Information
01/27/2010
The H1N1 virus and concerns about the upcoming flu season have been in the news for the past several months.
The Quabbin Regional School District has distributed H1N1 informational packets to all elementary and middle school students. However, the information for high school families will be included in the first high school newsletter.
The information included in the packet can be viewed and printed by clicking here. The packet is in .pdf format, therefore, you will need to have Adobe Reader installed on you computer in order to open the file.
Included in this informational packet are "back to school" updates and precautions, a "Fight the Flu" checklist, and Flu prevention poster from the Massachusetts Office of Health and Human Services Department of Public Health.
The Quabbin Regional School District follows the guidelines established by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Federal Center for Disease Control(CDC) for prevention of the spread of flu-like illnesses. If you have questions or concerns, please call your child's or childrens' school nurse.
For up-to-the-minute information about H1N1 flu procedures and precautions, please visit the Flu Facts Page on the Massachusetts Office of Health and Human Services web page.
