The Quabbin Regional School District offers an integrated preschool opportunity where students of all abilities learn and grow together. For the 2020-2021 school year, this program is a tuition free, space limited program offered to students who reside in the five district towns of Barre, Hardwick, Hubbardston, New Braintree and Oakham.
The program follows the Quabbin academic calendar, students must be 3-years-old at the beginning of the program and may remain in the program through age 5. Students can turn 5 during the school year, but cannot begin the program if they are already 5-years-old. Transportation is the responsibility of the family.
Registration is on-going. In order to be placed on our wait list, please complete the first four pages of the registration packet, provide proof of residency and a copy of your child’s birth certificate. Notification of acceptance will begin on July 1, 2020 and, at that time, the remaining required paperwork will need to be completed.
For the 2020-2021 school year, programs will be housed at the Ruggles Lane School and the Hardwick Elementary School with two sessions. The morning program is in session from 8:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. and the afternoon program is in session from 12:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. During this time, children develop their social, emotional and academic skills.
